HelloChat Launches Free Chat, Voice and Video Calling App, Giving Local Businesses an Affordable Way to Advertise

Free for members. Simple ads from $25 a week. Available now at gohellochat.com.

NEW YORK, NY, November 2, 2026 — HelloChat today announced the launch of its free messaging app at gohellochat.com. Members can chat one-to-one or in groups, make voice and video calls, and connect with friends, all without paying a cent. The app is supported by affordable ads from businesses, not by charging the people who use it.

“People shouldn’t have to pay to stay in touch with the people they care about,” said Ayotunde Adebayo, founder of HelloChat. “We built HelloChat to be free for everyone who chats, and to give small businesses a simple, low-cost way to reach new customers.”

What members get

  • Free messaging in private chats and group rooms, with reactions to messages.
  • Free voice and video calls, including calls with more than two people.
  • Friends lists, member following and easy invites from phone contacts or a personal link.
  • Safety tools: real profile photos, blocking, reporting, two-step sign-in and sign-in alerts.
  • Personal settings such as chat backgrounds, text size, ringtones and language that follow you to every device.

Advertising made simple

Businesses can apply directly in the app by tapping “Advertise here!”. Flyer or photo ads cost $25 for 7 days, and video ads cost $50 for 7 days. Payment is taken securely by card through Stripe, and every ad is reviewed before it goes live. Ads appear in the app’s top bar and on the call screen, and advertisers can see how many times their ad has been seen.

Availability

HelloChat is available now in any web browser at gohellochat.com and can be added to a phone’s home screen. Mobile app store versions are planned.
